  18. {Get 1 inch of cinnamon stick.
  19. {Take 2 of cardamoms.
  20. {Prepare 2 of cloves.
  21. {Make ready 1 of bay leaves.

This is my style of preparing Broccoli rice. This dish can also be prepared with leftover rice or brown rice. Kids and adults will love this simple dish very. Add the broccoli and mix well.

Steps to make Broccoli pulao:

  1. Heat 1 tsp oil in a kadai, then fry half of onions into brown with salt and little sugar. Keep aside it..
  2. Keep ready all veggies with you. Heat rest of oil in the same kadai, add whole spices, then add onion along with ginger garlic and fry for 5-6 mins..
  3. Add veggies now and saute for 4-5 mins with little salt..
  4. Add soaked rice and also add rest of spices and slitted green chillies. Mix everything carefully in low heat. Cook 5 mins with soft stir..
  5. Add 4 cups hot water and salt into it and covered with lid. Cook low heat until water almost evapored..
  6. Add chopped coriander, sugar, kewra water and fried onion, mix softly and put the kadai with lid on a steam. Put on steam for 5 more minutes and then removed from steam. Keep with lid for 15 mins more and then served it..
